Anti-Santorum Sentiments Breed Hatred

Why are some people SO against others that they cannot appreciate the goodness that is there? We must remember that human persons are a unique combination of spirit and matter. No other creatures in the world can "boast" such an existence. Can we please pay attention MORE to the spiritual? This is not to say that the material should then be denied; certainly not. But the spiritual has much to do with the heart, the "center of the person, from which he speaks." And it is not what goes into a man that can kill- it is what comes out of him, out of his heart. And it is that which comes from the heart to which we must be attentive.

Senator Santorum has made some mistakes, and committed more than his fair share of sins. How can I dare to make such a claim (regardless of party affiliation or ideology)? Because this is true for EVERY human being (again, regardless of party affiliation or ideology). Just some thoughts to keep in mind as we approach election time....

I just realized another thought as I glanced at my title for today's post. If it is that which comes out of the heart that can kill, then no wonder anti-anyone sentiments breed hatred.
