Form and Matter

Opening (rather melancholy) Monologue

Greetings.

"Form": the way something is done; how we do it. "Matter": the physical substances we use to do what we do. All of life is composed of these things.

One of my objectives in beginning this blog is to muse over some of the ways we do things, and what matter we use to do them.

Take, for example, anger. I had a moment of unjustifiable anger earlier today. Unfortunately, I chose the medium of screaming at the person who was the object of my anger. The matter I used was my hand clamped tightly around this other person's arm. It was all so unnecessary. But it was real. LIFE is REAL.

Let's live it.
